Senior Thesis 2016
From February through March of 2016, a hand-drawn animation was completed. For "Sixty Days" I created an animation using only pencil and animation paper. My tools were limited as I wanted to create art that captured the relationship between artist and artwork. I wanted to keep the "sketchy" qualities and rough nature of animations to show others how even the most complicated animations that we see today have very basic beginnings. At the end of the two months, I had completed over six hundred and two drawings overall. The thesis debuted at an art show at Arcadia University from April 29th through May 20th, 2016. Here are all of the animations shown in full, first starting at a regular speed, then slowed down to half the time to show more detail.
